So, I have maybe 4-5 chapters to finish on Subgalaxia. I’ve been sitting on it for three months and am finally feeling like I have a plan of attack for how I want to reach the ending. However, I had a batch of characters just begging for my attention.
See, I have about 9 different works in progress I have on the back burner at the moment. Life of a Librarian, The Toy Keeper, Struck, Jackal, Magnon, and an idea for four books I want to set up as an arc that takes place before Fyskar that elaborates on the Glendwellers that you will be introduced to in Polaris Skies. I will be releasing that in December.
As it is, Life of a Librarian has about eight to ten chapters to be finished and they were the ones demanding my mental space for the last couple of days. The bad part is that I’ve been in the midst of formatting about 650+ posts for the last week, and haven’t been able to give Life of a Librarian much love.
I did end up taking a bit of time though to solidify the characters in my head by doing up a promo poster for the book. It’ll keep my character description accurate at the very least.
Grace Alice Oppenheimer and Carl Oppenheimer are married. He’s been keeping secrets and she finds out the hard way. He is a member of what is known as the Librarian’s Guild. He has an ability to Read fictional characters into reality, and she’s only just learning that she can too. Now they must join forces to stop a rogue librarian who is determined to bring an ancient god into existence. Can she learn to harness her powers, and can they learn to work past their differences to protect the world?
I’m still working on that blurb. Writing blurbs is hard. I don’t write short stories for a reason.
Anyway, I got into a rhythm and produced another pair of posters after this one, one for Polaris Skies and one for Subject15 and wanted to share.
I was having fun with retro throw back style art.
